Consortia has been recruiting for technology teams since 2010, across Product, UX & Design, Data & AI, and Engineering.
Working in the same markets for that long means we hear about industry changes as they happen. We see where hiring is getting harder and what candidates are looking for. We notice when expectations around salary and office time shift, and when a brief needs adjusting before a search can work.

That experience helps most when a role has already proved difficult to fill, or when the usual hiring routes have not found the right people. It might mean helping a start-up make its first product hires, or supporting a global business as it recruits across several countries.
The way we search has changed too. We now use AI and data to explore our networks in more detail and spot market changes earlier. But the parts that make the biggest difference remain human: understanding what a business needs, knowing what will matter to a candidate, and building relationships over time.

How we work.
Every search starts with what your business actually needs: the role, the team and what success looks like once someone is in post. If you have already been trying to hire, we want to know where it has stalled.
From there, we agree a realistic approach, whether that is Permanent Recruitment, Contract Recruitment, Fractional Leadership or Executive Search.
We rarely rely on applications alone. Much of our work means going directly to people who are not actively looking, through headhunting, referrals and networks built across Product, UX, Engineering and Data since 2010.
Technology we have built helps us search those networks and the wider market in more detail than a job title allows. AI helps surface people with the right mix of sector, product, location and career experience; our recruiters decide who is genuinely worth approaching.
We talk to people in depth, from what they have owned and why they might move to salary, notice period and office expectations. You get a considered shortlist with clear context on each person, and we stay involved through to offer.
Candidates get the same care: clear communication, honest feedback and good preparation without bias. Many of our candidates come back to us as clients, sometimes years later.
