Azure DevOps Engineer

As an experienced Azure DevOps engineer you want to actually own the Azure platform and CI/CD, not just keep someone else’s pipelines ticking over.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer with our SaaS client, you’ll be the go-to person for everything Azure across a multitenant .NET product. This role exists because the platform is scaling, security is becoming ever more critical, and they need one expert mind to tie engineering, cloud, and infosec together.

You’ll sit at the intersection of DevOps, platform, and security, shaping how software ships, how tenants are isolated, and how the environment meets modern security standards.

What You'll Do

Own CI/CD for the multitenant .NET SaaS platform, designing and maintaining GitHub-based pipelines from build and test through to production deployment. Take responsibility for the Azure estate, including App Services and Application Gateway, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code so every environment is reproducible, auditable, and aligned with best practices. Embed security into the platform by working closely with engineering and security stakeholders, leveraging tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel. Contribute to threat modelling and support the journey towards ISO 27001, turning security requirements into practical technical controls.

What You'll Bring

You have solid experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or similar, working on .NET-based SaaS products, ideally in a multitenant setting. You have hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) and a strong understanding of modern release processes. You have deep familiarity with Azure services such as App Services and Application Gateway, plus broader platform concepts around networking, resilience, and monitoring. You have practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling and patterns, and you treat configuration as software. You have experience administering Entra ID / Azure AD, with a clear approach to roles, permissions, and secure access. You are security-minded in delivery, with exposure to Defender for Cloud or Sentinel, threat modelling, or supporting ISO 27001 or similar accreditation processes, and you communicate clearly and collaborate with engineering and security teams.
